
John Tanner brings to Kahala Biosciences extensive knowledge of strategic and commercial marketing in the medical device and diagnostics space. He has held senior-level roles at S&P 500 companies and advanced technology startups, where his focus—and passion—has been bringing innovative therapies and diagnostics to unserved patient populations.
Prior to joining Kahala, John was a senior business development advisor to an infectious disease diagnostic company, and also the Vice President of Strategic Marketing for an NGS oncology diagnostic start-up.
Previously, he served as a Vice President and Senior Leadership Team executive at Edwards Lifesciences. He also led over 60 engagements as a management consultant at L.E.K. Consulting and other leading advisory firms.
John earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago with high honors.
